Greek yogurt with honey and oranges

Greek yogurt with honey and oranges
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
a drizzle
2 tbsp toasted slivered almonds
or a few shakes from my dispenser
1/2 tsp chia seeds
1 half oranges
diced, preferably Cara Cara oranges when they are in season
I used to work near Kokkari Estiatorio, a Greek restaurant in SF. At a work lunch in the early 2000s, our server highly recommended the yogurt and honey dessert. I ordered it suspiciously because I wanted to understand why someone would rave about something so basic. It ended up being so good that I went on a hunt to procure the ingredients to make it at home. (Greek yogurt wasn't readily available in stores back then, so I had to go to a Greek store in the Mission.) Nowadays I enjoy this combo for breakfast with oranges with some almonds and chia for texture.
Spoon the yogurt into a small bowl and drizzle with honey.
Top with almonds and chia seeds.
Top with oranges. Enjoy immediately. (Or else the honey starts to get watery and the whole thing just starts to look weird.)
