1 | Prepare a grill. |
2 | Combine all the marinade ingredients. |
3 | Pierce the skin of the duck. Pour the marinade over the duck meat and cover. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. |
4 | Remove the duck from the marinade and reserve the marinade for basting. |
5 | Place the duck skin side down and grill over a medium heat for 40 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the marinade. |
notes
Breast meat should cook until rare to medium pink on the inside, so it may require less time on the grill. Be careful not to over cook.
